Family-friendly Gite with Pool in South West France

Pyron's original Grain-store, Le Grenier, has been renovated to cater for smaller families with one or two children or couples. Adjoining the far end of Maison Pyron with two separate entrances and garden with terrace, this family-friendly gite (78m2) overlooks the peaceful rear grounds and pool - a great base for unwinding and getting away from it all.

Kitchen

From the garden or main driveway you enter a long galley kitchen dinner, which is well-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, induction hob and micro-wave. The staircase with its recently handmade oak handrail takes you to the first floor of Le Grenier with its renovated wooden architectural beams, vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. The rear double doors lead out onto a recently-laid terrace with garden furniture.

Terrace

A recently-uilt terrace provides a private space for relaxing and dining outside with table and chairs and plancha.

Bedrooms

Two renovated barn doors lead off the main area to two separate bedrooms: one with a king size bed (152 cm x 198 cm) and the other with two single beds (90x190).

Lounge

In the main area itself there is a sofa and two club armchairs creating a small lounge area ideal for reading and watching TV. With reversible air conditioning/heating unit, this area stays cool in summer and also warm in the cooler months along with the use of storage heaters. There is also a central electric ceiling fan/light in bedroom 1 to help stay cool in summer and warm in winter. The air conditioning is powerful enough to cool the whole property.

Bearing in mind children's safety, the stair spindles have been installed according to safety regulations. There is also a safety stair gate available if required for younger children. There is free Wi-Fi in the Grenier gite and you can watch French television via TNT and UK TV via satellite.

From the first floor a set of French doors opens out as a Juliette balcony giving wonderful views of the peaceful area: pines, woodland, pool and Grenier garden.

Bathroom

To the right you enter a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet, cupboards and heated towel rail.

In the Grenier garden there is garden furniture for al fresco eating and a plancha with views to the pool, games area and woodland.

A small Welcome Pack is included on weekly stays and access to free Wi-Fi. There is a starter pack of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls.

We provide an information pack updated by season to include with suggestions of places to visit locally and in South West France, a guide to using the equipment in the house and an annual update of specific local events, summer and night markets, etc...

Pyron has several outbuildings and barns, including an old 'four' (bread oven house).

You will be able to park at the front of the main house at Pyron.
